Westown Cairo is a 120-hectare mixed-use city center development located within the recently planned Sheikh Zayed City.
The concept of the project is to provide in Westown, the nucleus of a city center for the emergent urbanization of Sheikh Zayed City. The Master Plan will inform the development of a strategic 120-hectare site plot adjacent to the intersection of the Alexandria – Cairo Road at Kilometer 34 and the Dashour Road leading to 6 October City.
Westown Cairo provides the following overall land-use mix:
- Office park including high-rise landmark buildings
- Four or five mid- to high-density residential neighborhoods, including mainly townhouses and apartments, all to the highest quality.
- Extensive retail including a mall of 120,000m² floor area
- Entertainment and hotel facilities
